Hate the pick or not, I've enjoyed the Sandlot over many, many viewings moreso than any other sports movie.
There are others that hit harder on the first viewing maybe but, again, I give Sandlot the nod for lifetime achievement.

before I found out how full of shite the story was I would have said Rudy.
Its still a pretty good flick but finding out Rudy was basically a con man that made nearly all of it up was disheartening.
I recently saw a pretty good hockey movie called he Rocket: The Legend of Rocket Richard. I think most here would like it.
