Help me find a good pair of casual boots?

Looking for a dark brown boot. Doesn't have to be 100% cowboy pointed toe western. But a nice solid boot for going out when wearing my "nice" jeans.
Note: I haven't worn boots in about 15 years so I'm outta the loop.

just go with a simple pair of Justins. They're a gread deal at around $100. They look good, hold up well, and have the option of a steel toe in case you want to re-purpose them in the future as a work boot.

go get some regular toe RedWing or Ariat. Stay away from those super flat toe boots by Ariat.

I have a pair of short ankle steel toes for work.
Really looking for the best brand (comfort wise), and price wise.
I have a pair of regular casual shoes, but the soles are the same type of soles that are inside Adidas shoes.....talk about heaven

I like the brand called Ariat. You can get them at bass pro. I have worn them almost everyday for the past two years.

Ariat or Justin for price and comfort.
Prefer Ariat personally, but your foot may like Justin. I also prefer a bit of a square toe, but I have a wide foot. I like the look better as well.
Roughly this kind of shape.

If you're not wearing them every day, no need for American made stuff, which is rare nowadays. Just go to a boot store and pick out whatever one you like. It doesn't really matter which brand or quality. For your needs, a $70 pair of boots would be fine.
I think Berkshire Hathaway owns most of the boot companies now, and 95% of them are made in China
Eta: American boots are much higher quality, thicker and better leather, better soles, re-soleable, etc. You don't need that for a casual boot

Most of my dress and casual shoes are square toe. Been wearing square toe shoes since the 7th grade , so it's time to try something different.
I'm mainly about comfort these days.
