Defeating Long Beach State 13-0 and with a very impressive 6-3 win over #3 Washington! The bats are starting to click, this team like I said at the end of last year, if it could piece together an incredible bat with very talented pitching, this could be a special year! The freshman are only going to get better through experience, but Coach torina has this program heading into the right direction.
Tomorrow, LSU will face #6 Oregon @ 8:00 CT and Cal State Fullerton @10:30 CT. They close with #13 Stanford Saturday. So this is no pushover of teams. These are CWS talented teams. If you don't care don't comment, just thought I'd update y'all on something exciting and special just beginning.

I am really rooting for Torina after murphy was ridiculously unprofessional during our hiring process.

Corbello appears to be the real deal and when Walljasper comes in next year, we've got a nice shot at bringing home a natty.

Don't forget about Selman who I hope developes another pitch to go with the fast ball and The Smith girl the year after Waljasper.

Selman is a very good pitcher, right now the coaches are working on her pitch location and control. It'll develop! Corbello has the entire package, she'll develop stronger pitching as she grows at LSU.
