Thor part 2 question.. SPOILER ALERT..

Can someone explain in the end what happened.. Thor was talking to his dad that essentially ended up being Loki... I thought he died on the other planet, and if that was Loki then where was his father?? That part was a little confusing.. Thanks

Loki has a magically ability to cause illusions. He faked his death, took the place of one of the search party, went back to Asgard and then took the place of Odin.
What he did with Odin no one knows yet.

Now, do y'all think Loki stuck Odin on jotunheim or one of the cells and illusioned him as another prisoner?
