Anyone watched it? The SO and I are about to start it. I liked Love Actually and it's by the same writer and director

I enjoyed it. Its more of a guy flick than I thought it would be. I'll wait till you've watched before I finish my thoughts on the movie, so as to avoid even a hint of a spoiler.
WAY WAY WAY WAY better than The Time Travelers Wife.
by now I'm sure you have finished it. I am really , really close with my dad and grandfather. The end of this movie hit me hard. Especially with some of the health problems they are starting to develop. While it is by no means a great movie, I like its message and the actors are talented enough to really convey it. Bill Nighy is very underrated imo. Rachel Mcadams is also my one get out of marriage free celebrity one night stand.

Yeah it was really good.
More of a father/son relationship movie than a love story, or at least equal parts.

I know exactly what you mean. My dad is having a lot of major problems lately and this movie really got to me. I tried to hold it back, but when they time travelled back and we're playing on the beach, I lost it.

It's got a good message, it's an enjoyable movie. It's not great, but it's not a bad way to spend 2 hours.
It's really about family and enjoying every second with them.
