Workout crew- loading creatine
Posted by TequilaMockingBird on 2/20/14 at 7:47 pm00
I'm trying to build lean muscle and was wondering the ots opinion on loading creatine. I'm getting some tone but I'm having a hard time gaining any weight.

More calories. Creatine holds too much water and most of what you gain will be water weight. Eat more.

If by loading you mean preload that's not needed..if you mean you just need creatine then look at the Arnold cr3 stuff is legit

I reccomend it for the bulk, but not a "full scoop". I do about 1/3rd a scoop after a day of lifting. Full scoop can make you retain a lot of water and look weird

I weight 126 and I'm eating around 3200 calories.

I guess you could load creatine for muscle growth if you had enough of it. Anything heavy enough to provide some decent weight should work. You could load bricks or books too. Just be sure to lift with the knees and not the back.

Holy shite. What are you 5'0"? I'd see a doc if I was you. My short gf weighs more than that

5'8" and less than 130. Jesus man. You look unhealthy, regardless of what you think.

What are you eating in that 3200 calories?
re: Workout crew- loading creatinePosted by TequilaMockingBird on 2/20/14 at 8:02 pm to Tayday
Healthy. Lot of protein. Chicken eggs mill peanut butter.

If you've been that way for a while, you might have even stunted your natural growth in height and muscle mass. I'd get my T levels checked and blood work done before getting into creatine too much.
I feel skinny as hell at 6'2 200

It's been about a week and a half eating like this. I'm up from like 1400 calories. Not just a big jump but gradual.

I hate taking creatine as it literally adds like 10 pounds right away. Not what I look for, but may fit the OP an his weight gain problem.

use concret and you won't have to load. same dose every time and you won't bloat up with water weight
if you use pure creatine monohydrate, you'll be taking a shite ton of it each day for a week or two just to load. it gets expensive.
