Police in Africa say Kennedy and Jeffrey Reynolds, 44, were found dead Tuesday in a cabin on the Norfolk-based Maersk Alabama — a ship made famous in a 2009 hijacking by Somali pirates, an incident dramatized in the movie "Captain Phillips" starring Tom Hanks.
The ship was berthed in Port Victoria in the Indian Ocean island nation of Seychelles. Police there have given no cause of the deaths. They say the men worked for Virginia-based Trident Security, which was founded by former SEALs and employs former special warfare operators to provide security. Requests to Trident for information about the men have not been answered.

Yep I knew him and his little brother from middle school. Very nice guy to all that knew him. Looks like and was a total badass yet nice to everyone he met. It's a shock for sure.

I know this guy. Friends with his brother. I feel for this family. I actually hung out with Mark this time last year after the Central Mardis Gras Ball when a bunch of us rented a limo to go to L'auberge Casino. Last time I got to hang with him.

Two dead in the same cabin, I believe. Could be CO poisoning, if they were using some kind of supplemental heat source or were cooking in the enclosed cabin - anything that generated combustion gases...
Could be drug ODs, if both were into it, shared, and got a strong batch...
Hard to believe that two young and presumably fit guys both coincidentally died of natural causes on the same night.
