I assume were just about done with the extreme cold. The clovers are starting to pop up and weeds are starting to grow long in the flower beds.

I really just wanna get the weedeater out and trim up and spray around the house.

Did anyone else start on their post-winter yard maintenance yet?

I cleaned up the yard a few weeks back and got the garden ready with fresh chicken manure. Plants came in yesterday, so maybe this weekend I'll get some in the ground. Also took the mulch off my hops and hung the ropes for them to grow. Already see some green poking out of the soil.

I'm doing this Saturday. Grass is dead but the weeds are out of control.

I started last weekend. Will have some more to do and wrap up the initial "get it back in shape" stuff done this coming weekend.

Yard work goes on year-round at my place. Prior owner installed lots of shrub beds that will get completely out of control if not cut back on the reg. I've removed some of it but more needs to go. Yard is also home to about 20 sixty-foot tall pines. Those damn things shed debris 24/7. About half of them need to go.

I love cutting grass/weedeating and hitting an ice cold brew afterwords, just the thought of it makes me chub up

I'm actually pumped for yardwork. I got a new self propelled mower that cut my mowing time by about 30 minutes. I don't feel like it's such a chore to pull weeds and stuff now. Gonna own my lawn this season.

I'll be doing some weed management this weekend. Already have some broadleaf bastards popping up.
