Do you think he is worthy of being picked in the 60-100 range? Currently, ESPN has him ranked 114 and Yahoo has him ranked 66. I feel like his value is closer to 66 in H2H leagues simply because he will allow for you to win SB for the entire season barring injury, but I still think 66 is a little too high for him. Personally I see him around the 80 range and would be a little uncomfortable drafting him earlier than that.

Basically a one trick pony. With that being said I would leave him out of my top 100. I'd say more around 150ish.

My guess is at around a .220-.250 hitter with around 45 steals.

I could see him stealing 80 or not being able to hit and being in the minors by June. It's a gamble for sure.

Well his runs will be high also.

High risk, High reward.

If he can hit ML pitching even slightly below average he will be a valuable fantasy force.

On the other hand he may be Dee Gordon 2.0. I think Billy is a better athlete and will pick it up eventually IMO, but im not sure if he's quite ready.

These are my thoughts exactly. I picked him up last season as soon as he got called up, mainly because he had SS eligibility at the time and he did not disappoint with 13 SB's in 13 games. Obviously I don't expect him to steal 100+ or anything absurd like that, but I don't think 60-80 is out of the question as long as he doesn't completely suck/ get demoted.

If he plays everyday and can hit, he will steal 100 bases.

I'd put it at 40% chance.

I don't think his batting is horrendous but I don't see him hitting better than .235-.250 which is about where Streamer projects him. His walk rate tanked in AAA last season and as a result so did his OBP. With that said, I think it would be pretty hard to get 100+ with an OBP around .300-.315 no matter how freakishly fast you are, but it's not completely impossible. Other than Vince Coleman I can't think of another 100+SB guy with an OBP right around .300

He's gonna have to have an OBP of .330 or greater to have a chance to steal 100 bases, imo.

Supposedly he's been working on bunting a lot to try and get on base more. If he can make that a weapon he has a much better shot at 100.

Bump for conversation purposes.

How are people faring thus far?

I traded him away in one league about two weeks ago, but as a reds fan I'm happy.

Traded Brett Gardner for him a month ago. I've had a few offers since, but I can't see me trading him away. I'd have to be blown away with the offer.

(Insignificant fact. I'm 11th out of 12 teams)
