Any SLU fans have any inside scoop as to why Jay Artigues stepped down as baseball coach and became AD?

Didn't he also start up the Hammond Yankees travel ball program? I coached against him a couple times this past fall. I'm assuming it was his program, they have a few teams... still gets his baseball fix.

Also opened a big baseball training facility right by St. Thomas Aquinas high school
