Congratulations you read my mind. These are the worst offenders, but reality TV in general is devoid of any actual reality, narrative, point, quality, etc. Reality television is easily the most depraved and vacuous form of entertainment that's ever existed. I'd rather watch Hostel or Human Centipede on loop for 24 hours than any of these for an equal length of time.

i like your list. it could really be any 5 reality shows, aside from those that entertain me (building wild, treehouse masters, ultimate survival alaska, etc)

Duck Dynasty doesn't belong. It's a solid scripted sitcom (think "Modern Family" set in West Monroe) with at least some redeeming social value. Have you ever watched the show? I can understand not liking it, but it in no way deserves to be mentioned in the same breath as that other crap on your list.

Any body also think the Big Bang Theory is awful?
Because I do. 2 Broke Girls is horrible as well. American Idol is/has always been staged/bad as well IMO.
