What time? and If he doesn't show 99% chance the judge throws it out.

St. Gabriel is pretty small, what are the chances the cop isn't also the judge?

Don't cops schedule the same court day on all their tickets? He'll show.

Accept responsibility and pay your ticket. Don't try and weasel out on him not showing up.

If the man accusing you doesn't show up for court on the assigned date, the case is over, period.

i know for a fact that in St. Tammany, they will (or at least used to) reschedule your date if your cop is a no show on your first court date.

I'd probably just skip town if I were you. South America is promising this time of the year.

Bend over. They will delay until the cop shows. Best bet is to plead article 894 or whatever it is. Option 2 is plead not guilty. They will then give you a second court date. At the second court date they will "offer" to let you pay the fine , in exchange for "equipment violation". I recommend this.

I got a ticket on my motorcycle where I wasn't speeding and had a legitimate case. After the 3rd court date of them wasting my time they told me i was "probably right" but they had to side with the cop.

The ticket says 530pm at the court house.

and I found it odd that the cop car was in the oncoming lane and had three cars ahead of him with no line of sight to my vehicle.

Should have just gone to the office and paid. You can ask to have taken off your record, then sign a document and never have to worry about it again.

You done did it wrong.

Just call the number on the back of the ticket. See what the fine is, what form of payment they accept and what it takes to keep it off your record. Last time I got a ticket there, I paid on the morning of the court date at the police station off of Nicholson/Hway 30 (believe I paid in cash, but don't remember) and simply filed out a piece of paper requesting that the ticket be kept off my record. All they want is your money and all you want is to keep it off your record. Nothing else was required.

Yep that is exactly what you need to do. No one beats a traffic ticket in St. Gabe. All they want is your money. Pay the money, and sign the paper at the police station before court, and they won't even report it to your insurance. It's really your only option, because you gonna pay one way or another. Their court is called a Mayor's Court. So if you go to court you're screwed.

Is that the town where if you want it off your record you have to sign the paper and pay extra money?
