Would You Eat It? (Food left out)

Grilled myself a couple nice rib eyes last night. Finished cooking about 8:30, ate one and forgot to put the left over in the fridge. It was in a zip lock bag sitting in my kitchen until I realized my error about 7 this am when I put it in the fridge. House was about 63-68 degrees all night.
Eat or no?

I wouldn't.
I think refrigerators are supposed to have a temperature of 40 degrees or below.

It's steak. You don't waste steak. Man up.

I leave all my steaks out to get to room temperature. Aged meat is key to good steak.
Rub it down with olive oil and give it a good sear. It will be fine.

Where is the meat from?

I am currently recovering from food poisoning (2:30 am to now) from blackebed chicken at a restaurant in houston and its not worth it bro. I generally have the same mentality as the others in here, but my stance might have just changed

I think he already cooked it. Either way I would eat it. I grew up and my mother always left food out to get to room temp and would reheat it. I have a iron stomach now.

Chicken does not equal steak.
At all.
At all.

I'm the same way. Used to not care until I got food poisoning. Now every little thing damn near scares me.

Eat it. I've eaten worse

I would never waste a steak by reheating it. Make only what you can eat fresh off the grill (and not a gas grill either).

I left it a bit more rare than normal in anticipation of reheating it. It's from a local Super1 grocery store. I was planning on sticking it in the oven to reheat, I guess I will stick with that strategy.

Don't eat it. Seriously, man.
Here's the rule I live by- if you have to ask the question, you already know the answer is no.
When I was young and broke and 18 years old, maybe. But it's just not worth the risk of spending the next 3 days vomiting and dry heaving and doubling over with stomach cramps. It's two ribeyes. Buy two more.
ETA- I used to feel differently until a bout of food poisoning damn neared killed me.

Important question might be what temp did you stop at? We talking rare, mid rare, med, or jerky?
