Is this the dumb count who was driving down emergency lanes and using a pretend fake police light to get through traffic in 2006? I think she claimed she was late for meetings and deserved to be driving like a jackass or something.
Thank goodness her kind are going away quickly.

Not too sure they are. She won re-election evidently, and her husband is one of the Clerks of Court in Orleans. Shouldn't they have consolidated that damn thing to one Clerk by now?

He's got a mostly non-political job as the Clerk of Criminal Court. He's fairly competent as a mid-level paper pushing bureaucrat. He doubles as the Registrar of Voters, but he hasn't done anything to ruffle feathers in that role.
She, on the other hand, is a hanger-on with the City Council. Landrieu endorsed her to hedge his bets and maintain political alliances, but I assure you, he knows Jason Williams well, and would like nothing better than for Williams to unseat Hedge-dash-Morrell.

We have a political family like this in Dallas, the Medranos
One of the Medrano family members defected and ratted them all out in court for corruption and bribery... they were tried and convicted
Yet they have no shame, these Medranos are still running for local offices and will probably still win by landslides... it's easy to beat corruption at the ballot box if your constituents are idiots or dependent on you
