Searched online and can't find cost info on UC membership. Their site lists a few membership levels but no initial or monthly dues are shown. Anybody know how much it is per month? TIA

Junior Executive is $4,000 ($2,000 + $1,000 + $1,000) and $250/month

What golfer said. It's a good deal if you plan on living in Baton Rouge.

If you have to ask, then the answer is no.

We just live so far away from it...

Limited quality golf options in BR. Not to mention during the summers I easily spend $400/month in range balls, green fees, etc.

They also have a pool and a real practice facility.

If you play once a week, it's a good deal, and you come out ahead. . The 4k upfront proves you love the game enough to play the best course in Baton Rouge.

Isn't there another round of fees once you graduate from the junior executive level?

No. Your monthly membership cost just goes up to the regular one.

You probably receive TAF priority point credit as well.

If we had stayed, I would have joined.

The course is awesome. Don't care what anybody says.

You do. If you're under 35 it really isn't a terrible deal if you're playing once a week or more from Feb/March through October.

That's cheap for a Country Club initiation fee.

CCL is $15k, IIRC.

My cousin just forked out the 15k for it. He's not even a serious golfer. Dentist who wants to kill himself.

If we move the Northshore, I'm basically going to have to join Money Hill or Beau Chene...I guess I'll join the Bluffs if we move to New Roads/Zachary/St. Francisville.

You'd have to start posting in the golf thread again if you join.

If I was 10 minutes closer to the Bluffs, I would probably join there. $200/mth for junior exec ($225 for junior family), no initiation with a year long contract. I was looking at BREC's deal for Beaver Creek for this golf year until I made my ACL disappear a few weeks ago.
