what is a "good" 40 time?

Depends on your position and weight. 160lb athletic B student can get 4.5 with good form.

Your question is totally contingent on what position is being evaluated.

People are going to lie like a motherfricker what their 40 time is, not sure why you are even asking.

If you're an average joe and can run a legit 5.0 I guarantee you are one if the fastest out of your friends.

Despite what everyone's high school coach's stopwatch told them.

I figured since everyone had a 30+ on the ACT most people here were sub 4.5 guys.

Three of my closest friends ran track at LSU so this is not accurate. Also expect no honesty about times in this thread. FTR I ran a 4.89
