The 1187 is the only one I have experience with and I say not that one.

The 1100 is the only remington autoloader I would consider.

I replaced my 1100 in the rotation with a new 1187 in 1987 when they first came out, cause it could shoot 3 inchers. I've never had ANY issues with it. Did the later ones come up with some problems,, seems like I've heard that before??

I know a couple people with fairly new ones and they lock up pretty often. They probably don't clean them like they should, but speaking strictly off what I've seen I wouldn't buy one. The new ones are atrociously heavy with crappy finishes anyway. The 1100s on the other hand seem to still be well made.

The Beretta and Remington are both $585 and the Mossberg is $477.

All of them are brand new.

I've heard stories about the newer 1187's actin' up, but I've put a bunch of shells through mine from 87 to 2011 when I switched to stoeger. 1187 still cycles like new, I just wanted a new shotgun with some pretty cameaux on it.

eta: and a lighter one..

I have had an 1187 for many years and have never had it hang up a single time...there are a couple of little gas ports and if you keep them clean, it will work fine...

fwiw, I have to admnit, the gun is heavy, so if you plan to do a lot of walking and little shooting, it may not be the gun for you....

my style of hunting is a boat ride to a duck blind where I hammer some ducks, so I like the fact that the weight keeps the recoil down...

ETA: I am in your local area, so if you want to try out my 1187, just let me know...

Where'd you find the Baretta For 585. It was more around 700 when I was looking. I ended up getting a stoeger m3000, because I didn't know anyone with the a300 and I had shot the stoeger several times. I had an issue out of the box but after sending it back, I haven't had a single problem.

$650 at Dick's with 10% off at the register, so about $585.

Like I said earlier, the people I know probably don't clean theirs like they should. They don't seem very well made though. The finish is no better than my 2008 870 express, which is horrible.

I just want a good shotgun for all around hunting, especially turkey and waterfowl. You think it's a good buy?

The A300 series from Beretta is as good as any ever made in my opinion. Get it and you will have a gun that works for a very long time.
