Florida St. Pick
Towson -3

Can't get a feel for that Oklahoma St. game, matchup of two brutally bad coaches. If I had to play I think I would take Baylor. Oklahoma St. is brutally bad without Marcus Smart, not to mention the guy Clark who was recently run. Baylor hasn't played awful in most games, but has gotten squeezed often late.

Oklahoma State/Baylor is a match-up of two teams who are about to mail in their seasons.

Must-see TV.

25% chance of actual good basketball with teams fighting for their season. 75% chance of an absolute shite show.

Grabbed it as well, 2-1 on the evening and had the under in the Slovenia/Canada hockey match. Glad I stayed on the sidelines for this Baylor/okie st game.

I have noticed that small home dogs have been hitting like crazy in the 1H

I lost so many full game lines that looked golden 3/4ths of the way through this year, I finally started being extremely selective with my full game lines. I have narrowed down the factors that have contributed to dogs covering the first half lines, and have been rolling ever since.

Friday

I think I just may have finally got a hold on things again. I've been on a tear last 10 days, 15-6 on straight bets, and hit a pretty substantial parlay.

Tonight I really like Brown +2 1H (x2), also playing Columbia +3 1H. I feel good about both full game lines, I think Brown wins outright.

Both 1H bets hit, Columbia Full game hits and Brown pushes

Saturday

Saturday
Wake Forest +0.5 1H (2x)
San Diego +3 1H (2x)
IUPUI +2 1H
Marquette -3.5
Valpo +0.5 1H
Illinois - Chicago +5 1H

6-0 sweep

Sunday

All I have for today is UNC Greensboro 1H. If I get some time to look at the evening games I will let you know.

Im taking Notre Dame 1H and Full Game line a 5pm, that it for me.

Hit UNC Greensboro 1H and both sides of the Notre Dame game.
3-0

Tonight made 12 in a row, 27-6 in last 14 days. Been doing this for almost nine years, I can only remember having one run like this before.

Good deal....probably some of the bad breaks swinging back around too. This college basketball year has been really strange, I've had an obscene number of good plays fade at the 3/4 pole as well. Do you have any theories? Does it have to do with the selectively enforced touch foul rule?

I think a lot of the differences this season have been because of the touch rule absolutely. The more talented teams generally shoot the ball better, and now they have made it much harder for the defense to guard. The less talented teams in the past could outwork a team on defense and have a chance at the upset. They are still trying to do the same thing but the offense is getting in the double bonus earlier and teams are fouling key players out, so then you run into depth issues, again favoring the more talented team.

It will be really interesting to see how it affects the tournament, we may be looking at less upsets in the early rounds.

You still have your good teams that don't score the basketball at a high rate. Will be interesting to see.

Which is a shame because this is about as wide open of a tourney as I've ever seen. Power rankings have everyone so bunched together it's insane.

I saw Todd Fuhrman on twitter two nights ago said oddsmakers have the Top 12 teams only separated by 2 points! Pretty insane.

Going back to your 1H deal... My buddy pays for a subscription to some website that gives you the daily public percentages. I just ran a check just going back one week on betting the 1H against teams getting 70% or more of the public action. You would have went 43-21 last week doing this.

ETA: Just back tested for the whole month of February... you would be 70-38!

I'm guessing Sports Insights is probably the website you're talking about.

That's pretty damn solid, particularly without any statistical input. Let's hope it stays hot, yesterday was the first Monday my local "forgot" to text me in months. Lol. I don't think he likes me right now.
