I created an account this weekend. im still trying to figure out how to work everything. I added all the bills that I have. how do I put due dates on the bills? also, I recently paid my mortgage but it isn't showing on mint. how long does it take for things to reflect on the site?

TIA

No, if you gave your login and password, like I'm assuming you did, it will automatically promo "Upcoming Bill Due" or something of that nature.

I've only got my CC and Mortgage tied to it and I get alerts of that sort. Of course, I've only got the mobile app.

Accounts show up as soon as they show up online when u login into the account page. Honestly, I don't like the bill reminder on mint. Looking for something better

I get alerts but its just for my cc and auto loan.

I like mint bc I can track my spending/expenses all in one place and since I have used it for over 3 years now its pretty neat.

I'm pretty time invested myself. Would probably only switch if a competitor included more robust investment section (Personal Capital does, but its budget side wasn't any good when I tried it) and I got some predictive account balance features that Microsoft Money had, which I thought was fun to play with.

Yeah, they could definitely roll out some better stuff but 99% of the users would not use them.

I enjoy Mint, only thing that sucks is Cap One auto is not tied in so I can't add that account.

I am wary of a link on a computer to my bank accounts and investments.

The Russkies stole my tax ID and filed a tax return.

Don't want them helping themselves to my money accounts.

Then you need to get rid of all online banking.

I had mint and closed it because I was also worried about it getting hacked and having access to all of my accounts. After I closed it I went and changed all of my passwords.

Yea, you don't understand how mint works.

One of my issues with Mint is you can't remove certain bills that you used to pay but don't pay anymore. In my case, on the first of the month it prompts me to pay rent, when I have owned a home for two years.

It's going well. Love the new office.

I've been busy moving. Not much time for posting.

I thought this was true for some accounts, but not others? Anyway I signed up about a year ago because the Hidden Flask gushed about it so much. It's good for some things, bad for others. I think I'm ready to decouple my retirement accounts from mint and only use it for accounts that are active on a day to day basis.

You can hide those accounts from the day to day calculations.

I want to see my retirement stuff but I don't want it in my monthly expenditures summary so I just hid it.
