I've seen one posted by blues (I think), but I believe it was a different one.

I ran a 3 round simulation this morning while drinking my coffee. My results:

27 pick: Zack Martin OT Notre Dame

58 pick: C Travis Swanson Arkansas

91 pick: DE/OLB Jackson Jeffcoat Texas

I don't know many college football players, so I just took the top rated player of need.

Did another run at it. I was trying to do a 7 round one, but the thing up and stopped on me during the 6th round.

I wasn't intending on taking two DT, especially since it's a position of strength for us, but the value was too much to pass up. This would allow us to part ways with Tom Johnson, who hasn't really done a whole lot.

We also got a big body receiver, a FS and two pass rushers.

We don't have a 7th round pick. That's why it stopped you after the 6th.

Nice draft. I like the Ford pick in the first round and good value for Jeffcoat in the third. Don't really know too much about any of the others.

Here's mine (not sure how I feel about it, especially the first pick. I'll probably give it another go.):

58 CB KYLE FULLER VIRGINIA TECH
91 C WESTON RICHBURG COLORADO STATE
122 WR BRANDON COLEMAN RUTGERS

I like this one a lot more:

quote:

27 OT CYRUS KOUANDJIO ALABAMA
58 WR ALLEN ROBINSON PENN STATE
91 C WESTON RICHBURG COLORADO STATE
122 OLB ADRIAN HUBBARD ALABAMA
155 S KENNY LADLER VANDERBILT
186 TE CROCKETT GILMORE COLORADO STATE

Beef up the OL with a Tackle and a Center.
Get another target for Brees at WR.
An OLB to develop as a pass rusher.
A Safety to develop with Vaccaro.
And a TE project to develop.

Looks like they finally updated their rankings. That had been the problem with it earlier. I like the format of this one better.

27
CB JUSTIN GILBERT
OKLAHOMA STATE
-no question on this one if he would be available

58
ILB SHAYNE SKOV
STANFORD
-decision between him and WR Allen Robinson

91
C WESTON RICHBURG
COLORADO STATE
-perhaps a perfect 3rd Rd choice IMO

122
S DION BAILEY
USC
-CB Pierre Desir was the only other consideration here

155
RB DE’ANTHONY THOMAS
OREGON
-decision between him and WR Bruce Ellington, like the potential as a Sproles replacement

186
CB WALT AIKENS
LIBERTY
-pure value pick and he looks like a Saints small school guy

pretty dayum flappable overall

Why the hell are Yall drafting a damn RB?

kind of a boom or bust draft. I think Powell and Johnson could be really good.

I miss the Bush factor of this offense. Someone that is electric enough to require constant attention. In a league where a few feet of space means everything, I think this is what we've been missing at times. Having that piece spreading the field horizontally plus Graham spreading it vertically in the middle makes us better. IMHO

Sproles has been more consistent but he's not Bush in terms of the "scare" factor he gives opposing defenses. DAT could give us that again.

Best CB in the draft, IMO.

Perfect WR for the Saints in Landry.

a cheap replacement for PT/Sproles that has explosive potential.

The future franchise in Murray? At the very least, our back up spot is solidified in the 4th.

an OT with a ton of snaps in a pass oriented offense. Size and quickness. Could be relatively easy transition at RT.

Competition for Hawthorne, great athlete with size and speed combination.
