Any other player would have been moved in the lineup or given a day off...sec staffs know he can't hit off speed pitches and he hasn't shown the ability to adjust.

Yea because he only saw fastballs all season last year

You obviously have never played ball in your life on a competitive level... He's going through a slump right now... shite happens

Bumped it.. He hasn't posted since. Must be a miserable person.

Nah, I thought it was funny and applicable. Why so serious? Welcome to the internet.

Sophomore slumps happen, maybe this is one. Maybe it isn't. But giving a kid GOAT status after one stellar freshman season is ridiculous.

Don't worry Redfield, if you make a dumbass post that turns out to look ridiculous down the road I'll bump it too, just for fun. Then you can bitch and RA and get me banned for that.

I'll be lookin forward to it. Just funny to me that you remember a thread from 2 months ago and spent the time to find it. While your post may be harmless, it starts a shite storm from rantards bashing bregs.

Yes I played ball and noticed last year that his weakness was anything but a fastball. I also said he never takes the first pitch and when sec staffs realize it he will rarely get a 1st pitch fastball. You can call it pressing or a slump but I call it a bad approach at the plate. He should realize how pitchers are pitching to him after this many games . He has to be more selective and take some walks. Trying to get on with hits when pitchers aren't giving in looks selfish and doesn't help the team. I would say the book on him now is he rarely takes walks so don't give in he will get himself out. How many 3 hole hitters in the sec are batting .280 ish?

I just think sometimes people take this stuff too seriously.

Also, I think that people bashing Bregs, saying he should be batting eighth for example, are equally ridiculous if not moreso.

Yep. Some of you guys need to take a break from posting. If this stuff really bothers you, you need to back away from message boards for a while.

How long do slumps typically last?
