Additional money off for buying two vehicles at once?

To the car buying experts of the money board.
I'm at 200k miles and the wife will need one pretty soon. How much should I demand off above and beyond the individual best price of each vehicle if I buy them both at the same time? Let's say an f150 platinum and some type of explorer.

I'm no willcover but my guess is that it would largely depend on the margin the dealer is expecting.
If you're looking to buy vehicles with little to no markup you probably won't save a dime. If what you're interested in has an enormous markup then you could probably save a fair amount.
Put it another way - if you are buying two Bugatti Veyrons you could get a good deal. Two Kia's, you're wasting everyone's time.

Honestly, no different than buying them individually if you do your homework and get a great deal.
If you don't feel like working hard for the base deal and accept something in between, maybe a few hundred max. You can also take advantage of the offers for both vehicles (cash back, bonus cash, low interest rates, etc.).

go in and tell sales guy you cannot decide which one you want- the F150 or Explorer- have him work price on both of them- when you get the deal you want on either one- ask to see the sales manager-or you are not buying
Then tell the sales manager you will buy both if the money is right
Now they are working for you.
Do your homework - find out what invoice price is and stay on that number
