Wait what???? I have had it the last two years, did they just recently take it off (after October)

They put up record numbers last year and their MLB coverage is easily the best on TV, it's not even a debate.

well out of the 200+ channels, there's a lot that I don't watch but when LSU has made it public that that's where there game will broadcast and I spend close to $200 a month with them, I expect them to figure out how to get it on the air. Thx for the update though!

Because EATEL is straight trash. I long for the day my contract is up and I'll sprint not run back to Cox. Tech support hasn't fixed my problems in almost two years. Every tech guy or gal from eatel has been to my house. Internet slllllooooowwwwww way slower than what I pay for. DvR doesn't record and if your lucky enough to get it to record it'll erase it. Everything freezes. Just garbage!!!

C'mon man. Eatel is a small time cable company in a limited area. You really think they would drop a channel that is popular in their area?

Because of those record numbers I'm sure MLB Network increased their prices, and EATEL said no. I never said the channel was popular in my area, but it is very popular amongst big MLB fans.

I called them and they told me that they "couldn't reach a contract agreement".
I'm looking for alternatives - other than an internet that doesn't crash, Eatel is weak and way overpriced.

You need to upgrade your router. Then call the router company and have them set it up. I did this and I am as fast as what is coming into the house.

Yeah, you are right though, every thing else is over priced. You don't get much so we switched to Direct TV.

How do you like it? I was going to make the switch in the fall, but decided to wait another year because of CST. Without MLB network, I will probably switch as soon as LSU baseball on CST is done in May.

They've switched my router a minimum of ten times. Haven't tried the router company route though may give it a try tomorrow. THANKS

I switched from EATEL to Direct and regret it. I switched only on price, service was great for me in 5+ years I had them.

No Cox on Direct, which sucks for baseball and basketball.
