Me and the SO just finished BB and looking for a new show, how good is this? Is it recommended on here?

My wife really likes that show and told me to watch it. She likes shitty shows though so I haven't started it yet.

It's worth a watch. Think GoT with 1/8 the budget.

Vikings is pretty solid. It's a good combo of action/adventure, political intrigue, and history. It's probably no more historically accurate than Braveheart, but you'll watch things like the battle sequences and see the techniques and go, "Oh, so that's how the Vikings fought. Hey, I think I just learned something."

I enjoy how unsentimental they are with all the violence. It's decently acted and has a decent plot. I'm looking forward to season 2.
