2010 or 2013 D. Which was better?

Those were the 2 best that CSP has had. If you had to chose one to line up for 2014, which would you choose?

2013 easily. Better pass rush

I agree. I'm seriously in awe of the job RR did this season. The definition of night and day when talking about the Spags year.

2013 hands down.
eta: 2013 pass rush was better, and more fundamentally sound. 2013 was also more versatile. It had a different defense each week.

I'm going with 2013 as well.
I think 2009 defense was better than 2010 defense, too. The turnovers were amazing. That's what we need again. I'd love to have a safety with sticky fingers playing center field again.

2011 O with the 2013 D that had Vaccaro and Greer in the secondary.
God forbid a healthy 2 deep defensive line. Foster and several others consistently missed time and would have provided incredible value and depth.

The 09 D may have gotten the turnovers, but in 2010 we won games when the offense only scored 20, 17, and 14. That's ballin!

2013 for sure. It's amazing how RR pulled the defense together even with all of the injuries. Hopefully this year we'll have a complete LB corps - hasn't been the case since '09.

it was 2009 and 2013 was a better defense. 09' was heavily favored by our scoring and gambling. 13' was about lining up and goin' after it! this latest defense actually helped the offense a lot.
