Seriously? Are you that fricking miserable in your lives that you have to yell and curse at someone for delaying your day at max 2 seconds?

I understand there are shitty cyclist out there, but to take your rage out one that is doing everything he is supposed to do?

I don't care if this isn't a new topic. I'm ranting.

They're fat, out of shape, and jealous.

You could afford a vehicle suitable for roads if you didn't blow all your money on spandex, a-hole

Most cyclists want to have the right to the road but don't follow rules of the road (like stop signs)

Cyclists are the most hypocritical people in the world. They truly want to have their cake and eat it too.

And they wonder why motorists can't stand them

I don't care if you're following the rules of the road or common sense. Those cyclist don't bother me at all. If you're going to be smart on your bike, have a good time.

It's the ones that blow through stop signs and red lights and act like they can do whatever they want because they're on a bike that piss me off. They want the same rights and cars but the same privileges as pedestrians. Can't have your cake and eat it too.

We must stop the cyclists. It's a slippery slope thing. If we allow cyclists on the roads, then next skateboarders will want equal rights. Then who's to say what's next? Do we want pogo-stick lanes on the interstate? Not in my America!!

Why don't you grow up and get a big-arse truck like an adult?

You're telling me someone drove past you, rolled down the window, and cursed you out for no reason other than simply you riding a bike?

Yeah, I don't quite believe all that.

There are a lot of a-hole drivers out there. It isn't just to cyclists. I routinely see people racing to get to red lights, speeding in front of other cars when a slow down and merge is just as effective and much safer, etc. If you haven't noticed people are fricking stupid.

There was an asshat yesterday afternoon at 4:30 on a tricycle bike riding in the middle of the left lane going east on Perkins Road near Siegen.

Then he turned left onto Siegen, still in the middle of the left lane. Caused even more backup than usual at that spot.

The douchebags that ride three abreast in their spandex at least keep to the right and have a decent pace.

yes, that is exactly what just happened

I was riding on a neighborhood road, max speed of 25 mph, on the right side, and this a-hole comes up behind me, passes me, and his bitch wife or g/f leans out the window and screams "get on the fricking sidewalk a-hole!" and then floors it past me going probably 50 mph. I did not impede him in any way.

I'm the a-hole?

Well, I'd rework it based on what you were wearing.

Because a lot (not all, a lot) of bike riders are DICKS. I had a cyclist hit the hood of my car with his hand because he thought I was encroaching on the bike lane (which I wasn't). It was all I could do to not get out of my car and beat the dude's arse.

You should have experienced cycling in the 318 in the 80's. That was about a daily occurrence. People really think the sidewalk is for the bicycles around here.
