Norway to follow in Switzerland’s footsteps with immigration vote?

Wish we could have a tough talk on immigration in this country, but liberals and libertarians are in an unfortunate alliance on this issue. Pat Buchanan said recently that the mass immigration of people from nations where the government took care of them is going to make it impossible to maintain free markets here.
You know we are wrong on this issue when a country like NORWAY is making more progress on the issue. Let that sink it- norway....

The best solution on immigration?---dramatically reduce welfare.
We need to end the inflow of people that are coming here to take advantage of welfare.
We need to encourage and get out of the way of people wanting to come here to work and will take care of themselves.
The socialist policies of Europe are why they have the problem they have. Nobody is going to immigrate to a country to starve and go without housing.

1. what about Norway makes this especially surprising?
2. Does norway have a History of being a mix of immigrants?
3. Why does 1 country disagreeing with us mean we are on the wrong side of a conflict.
not that i am against immigration quotas, but this is just an odd statement that makes me want to dig deeper into your thought process.

Politicians as a whole are concerned about the mathematics of getting re-elected whenever immigration is on the table. The fact that the immigration law of Reagans era has not been enforced or such a long time is criminal for them and the people who earn a living by sitting on their asses in an office from the top(Holder and Bozo) to the people at the border crossings from the south, to those that should be looking for individuals overstaying a visa immigration is a joke.

You can book that their anti-immigrant attitude is related to Islam. Large Muslim populous is highly problematic for a Free society. Those folk are smart; they look at France and Italy and see the writing on the wall if Iran makes a move and Israel slaps it down.

NO, they don't need diversity! The world is diverse, the countries need to stay homogeneous!
