Man, I'd love to go but I'll be in New Orleans for the weekend on a strict liquid diet.

Damn DrT....I'd love to help out...I lived on Moss Lake all my life...know pretty much Big Lake/West Cove/Turner's Bay/Hog Island Gully by heart. But I'm locked up here in N. Bama.

Just check the tides. We have done well when it was coming in or right as it made the switch to go out. Used plastics. Shrimp under a popping cork is always a winner in my book

I'll be in a 16.5' cammo G3.

By the looks of things I might be alone.

Sweartogot, if it wasn't tax season, I'd head south from Monroe in a minute to do that.

I just saw on fb a friend stroked the trout today in west cove.

Good luck doc. I would come but I have to go to a work weekend at the camp.

It couldn't hurt. I know a few just from gathering local intelligence but like I said, I'm still learning the area.

Heres a simple map to follow. These are great places depending on wind, clarity, etc. Obv keep an eye out for birds. There are other great places but these give u some options based on conditions. Hope it helps.
