HERE

I believe in the necessity of roster change to stay cap healthy. Still it's with some sadness to see guys who were vital to the golden age of Saints football finally coming now leave.

Triplett had a nice stat on these guys-
94 sacks, 29 INTs, 42 FFs including playoffs

But seriously, I think I'm a bad person. I don't get sad at these things.

Perfectly said blues.

Would love to see these any of these guys wearing the black and gold again, whether on the field under new deals or in the front office.

Pretty classy.

Bittersweet to see them leave. I enjoyed watching them play but understand the need to move on. Especially since all four are past their prime and probably don't have a full season left in them.

Nice tribute, but that wasn't very sad at all. I'm very relieved we got rid of them. The only player I'll really only miss a little is Jabari. The others were just underachieving headaches mostly.

Will never forget what they've done. Four of the most important players in the history of the franchise.

Smith was great but really started become a bit of a liability the last couple of years he was in the rotation. Vilma was at the end of his career when he joined. Greer was our best CB for a while - hard to see him go, but I'm eager to see what our future is. I'm a bit surprised by Harper. I thought he still had some ability at stopping the run and covering option QBs, but he was not worth the 8M he was due this year for just a supplemental role.
