Burying my grandma today. The world has lost a good one. The Lady could cook any wild game on the face of the earth. Pow pow would shoot it, she would clean it and cook it. These two people showed us how to live simple and the things that really mattered. I sure hope there's enough of us to pass on what that generation taught us.

I lost my grandmother just before Christmas. She was cut from the same cloth as yours apparently. Prayers sent...

I'll be 30 in a few months and I was at my grandparents house yesterday and they were looking at old pics. They broke out some pics of when I was a few years old with my grandparents at our old camp in Woodville. I broke down seeing those pics. Both of my grandparents are old and feeble now and I had forgotten how things were when I was younger. It really broke my heart. I'd give anything to go back to those years for 10 min

Sorry for your loss,

My father alway said, " You would never be the man your Grandma was." And there a lot of truth to that.

RIP Grandma,
