Interesting tidbits in this article. Team almost went to San Diego.
It's obvious CP3 loved the city, just not the team. I don't fault him for wanting to leave

Never understood the CP3 hate. Dude was faced with one of the worst ownerships in not just the NBA, but all of sports. He really did do a lot for the city of New Orleans, too. I still play on the courts he refurbished at Magazine/Napoleon and Liberty/Soniat.

You ain't got the keys to the Smoothie, bro?

Figured you for a gymnasium type guy, not a street baller.

It could have been handled better

Being a bitch because his bff Bron-Bron got his little super team and Chrissy poo wanted one too so he stomped his little feet till he got one

It would be water under the bridge if the trade for him hadn't ended up being such an unmitigated disaster for us

People always need somebody to blame... The dude played his arse off for this franchise for 7 years, and did things we can only hope AD can

They need to be mad at the FO for surrounding the greatest PG of our generation with James Posey and Peja Stojakovic

Or being a bitch because his owner traded away a future Defensive Player of the Year and an additonal key piece to our greatest season ever (Pargo), followed by an unprecedented sale to the league itself and mystery?

I really don't blame him.

Also as much as it sucks losing one of the best pointguards in the history of the NBA, I really think Anthony Davis will be better in the long run.

The farthest he ever got was the second round of the playoffs. I have my expectations much higher for AD.

Technically, the Spurs upset us.
