Thanks to a fellow OBer, we were able to rent a camp several times this Winter in Dularge, and I think it was beneficial to all parties. Hope to get a few more in before Spring.

I'd like to do the same with someone in Cocodrie, or even Dulac during the Spring/Summer.

Whatever works for us and the owner. It might be a few weekends, or rent by the month, or whatever.

Hook me up if know someone who has a camp that doesn't seem to get to use it enough.

I started a thread on this a while back. Tough to find one to rent.

Thanks Hogdaddy. I've seen that one, and won't rule it out for sure.

Kinda hoping to find a situation "less structured" so that we and the owner can work out something that works for best for both parties.

Probably going down this w/e, I'll mention it to some people. I don't ever see for rent signs down there though. How about a hotel booked for a couple days straight?

Thanks QT. Anything you hear is good.

I'm open to consider anything. We usually stay at Coco Marina, and it's okay.

As much time as we spent last year, and hope to this year, would like something a little nicer. (and Coco isn't cheap.)

For what we pay them, I think we could make an absentee camp owner happy... and we're pretty responsible so I'm confident they could be comfortable, making it a win/win situation.

Will do, I'll be asking people around the 56/57 junction though. Might mean you'd have to run some.

Ask...

ETA: Let's make it a goal to get together at least once this year. I appreciate your consistent efforts to help!

Yea, I'll do that too!

I'm fine with getting together for a beer, or having my cook fry you some trout!

With my cook, that would be like leaving NOLA to eat in BR.
I'll ask and if I get any info I'll give you the contact numbers.

I have an access to a cabin in a gated community. Its a nice cabin. Has it own boat dock and direct access to the Houma canal.

Location is in Dulac by the falgout canal road.
