Shell Beach/Hopedale/Delacroix trip back on. Any thoughts/advise?

So a couple of weeks ago my buddy and I called off a trip down in Da Parish due to weather. Weather looks for the w/e, but I'm wondering about water temps, moon tides etc.
Any reports from down there? We hear the trout are in Oak River. Are reds still around? What are they biting on? We don't get to go near enough, so any help would be greatly appreciated!

I thought I remembered someone posting a map with a few good spots down there.We are staying at Charlie Thomasons tomorrow and another place Saturday night. My guy keeps a boat down there and has some good spots he's learned. Thanks.

I wanted to be as prepared as I can get. I have a bit of marsh tackle, but we are planning to pick up more tomorrow.
