Out of all the 2014 recruits, which one do you see having the most potential upside. I know Jarvis was a 5* coming out of high school but remember reading how Odell really started turning heads before the start of the 2011 season. Yes, we know LF will come in and most likely start day one but which recruit do you think the coaches will coach up to be a stud?
I really think Malachi has the most potential to really have an impact in the near future.Yes, he was #17 nationally but JC ran the ball the majority of the time. I believe Cam is going to turn him into an absolute monster and think he is really going to have an impact this upcoming season.
August 31st can't come soon enough!

Who you got?

I would bet a paycheck on Magee getting the first carry of 2014, barring unforseen circumstances of course.

ETA: and I agree on Upchurch.

Easily LF. He literally has the potential to go down as the greatest tiger of all time.

Chi and Quinn are actually really polished for how young they are. I don't think looking at those guys you'd say, "with a lot of work, they'll be good." They're already pretty damn good.

As far as true "upside" is concerned, I'd say Sione.
He comes in as a 3* guy. Not a lot of buzz surrounding his individual play. But the guy has good feet, a nice frame and a nose for the ball.

If he can put on 15-20 lbs, he could be a great pass rusher.

Agree on Upchurch.

LF may not "start" but I think he gets more touches than any other back right off the bat. We did not purposely sign zero RBs in 2013 just to give LF 6-8 carries a game.

John Battle..track athlete frame to add weight with his speed and punch already. He also can cover like a corner from the Safety position

LF will be carrying the rock SOME by game 2.

No doubt about it.

He may be carrying the rock by running play number two, let alone game number two. But Magee will get the first intended carry.

Oh I definitely agree on that. Point being, if he is as good as advertised, no way he stays off the field. Potentially be the starter by game (whatever), the list of monster freshmen running backs is to long for me to type.

Jacory Washington gets overlooked, he could be the best TE in the country before he leaves LSU

I don't really think of a 5-star elite national recruit (Dupre) as having the most upside.

I will go with Chark. Quiet recruit with one other big offer (Oklahoma State) but I liked what I saw of his talents. At first I did not care for his offer because I don't follow cenla much at all but he won me over. He has skills.

Davon Godchaux 6'4 270

Will be a force in a couple of years, 1st round potential. Had he not been injured would have been ranked much higher. Very good feet and will cause havoc once he puts on more weight!
