looking at a 2007, 21' CC, has a 150 Yamaha. Guy is asking $22K...anyone have or fished out of these?

Edit: will most likely be fishing near shore to offshore, 3-4 people. Also, will be using this boat down in the Lower Keys, so, not so much back country but a bit offshore to reef fish and dolphin fish...

No idea on the boat, but would a question not be "I am looking for a bay boat for to be used in the following places _________. I normally have ______ number of people fishing with me and have a budget of _______. What boat(s) should I be looking for in my price range?"

I think yeti has some insight on these. The 23 or 24 bay bolt is a good looking boat and I think it is supposed to be one of the better riding boats. Absolutely no idea of a 21' though.

Uncle has one, do not know what year it is though. I've ridden in it only a handful of times, and it always seems like I rides nice and smooth.

I like the low gunnels and low front deck, pathfinder-esque, pathfinder being my go-to for the future.

Overall Hydra is/was a great boat.

150 mite be a bit underpowered for a 21.

Kinda what I was thinking. Mostly wondering about the hull and the ability to go a bit offshore.
Thanks.

Boat maybe a little bit under powered but it should still easily run in the mid to upper 40s.

H/S makes a good boat.

That is not the vector series. In a good chop it will wear you out. Boat looks clean though.

Is Vector the chosen model?

If you are wanting a center console then yes, you want the Vector series. The bay bolt only comes in one model just different lengths. The Vector series will have more bells and whistles and more importantly a sharper deadrise and thicker glass.
