The concept is straightforward. Rate the last song posted (and maybe tell us why you gave it a certain rating), and then post a song yourself. A scale of 1-10 will do.

Try to post songs that people haven't necessarily heard.

My second favorite song on my second most favorite Genesis album. Awesome chorus, great lyrics. You actually introduced to me to that album in that Genesis thread I started a few months ago. So thank you. Good work.

Washed Out-Gotta get up

OP: Can everyone play from home? If you like/dislike the song but it's not the one directly above you, can you give an up/down arrow?

It's decent. I like their 80's techno vibe. I'm more familiar with their Paracosm album and I'd rate All I know tune an 8.But I'll check out more off that album.

That's actually pretty good. How does that have only 94 hits...is that like a family member of yours or something? Anyway, I liked the music, but I wasn't feeling the dude's voice. So, 7.

I dont mind the song, but I'm not sure I would keep listening.. That said, I would be willing to hear other songs by her... I think it was her vocals that I didnt take to on that song...

6.5

I liked it better than I was expecting. I haven't liked the little Pharrell that I've heard because his falsetto(?)/high pitched singing kinda gets on my nerves. This reminded me of some of the classic R&B and a little bit of doo wop.

That was you in the video. Spill it, which one was you? It screamed Mississippi.

Lazy Magnolia, Lucky Town Beer, the attire people were wearing and the haircuts. I could make a list and check them off.

musically a 2.5, but since it's from Mississippi I got to give it a 10. Absolutely fantastic!
