Lucas Black is the newest actor to join the cast of the latest NCIS spin-off. Black, who starred in The Fast and the Furious: Tokyo Drift and Friday Night Lights, will play Special Agent Lasalle, a federal agent who is both a party boy and a hard worker. The new series takes place in New Orleans and is set to premiere this spring.

It was announced last week that TV vet Scott Bakula (Quantum Leap, Men of a Certain Age) will lead the NCIS: New Orleans cast.

I can't wait for NCIS: Des Moines. That will be the best of them all.

How will they ever solve a murder on Bourbon Street? Even if a body was just dumped there, there'd be so much DNA of different people that a conviction would be all but impossible.

I can't wait for all the mysterious deaths caused by Gris Gris and alligators, and high speed air boat chases that lead right onto Bourbon Street where they will run into a bunch of locals hanging out and eating gumbo and a fine dish of Jum-beaux-lie-uh.

Mardi Gras parades in every episode, Voodoo Queens, and Beignets

In all fairness, there is sometimes enough piss on Bourbon to use an airboat.

The only time I really ever saw NCIS in Nola was at Mardi Gras. They stationed an agent at the 8th District station and any naval personnel that got arrested were brought there and turned over to NCIS immediately rather than go through the hassle of booking and housing them at OPP.
