Watching some terrible driving on icy roads. Don't know why people think they can drive 35+ on ice....No going out for me tomorrow. Be safe people.

Expecting near 1 inch of ice accumulation in central SC tomorrow.

Not going to be fun.

Weather Channel is referring to the ice storm as "once in a generation" when referring to the area from Augusta to Columbia

35 degrees near Athens. Rain, sleet and snow today. It's just cold and wet now, no ice.

Plenty of snow this morning, most melted by this afternoon. Here in Towns County (Young Harris) we are expecting up to 9 inches of snow between now and Thursday.

Stay safe, everyone. Despite what the media would have you believe, the Yankees up here even have trouble with these types of conditions. We just have more preplanned resources to deal with it.

If I lose power I am going to a hotel as soon as the roads clear which should be Friday. May be a long two days.

I'll be doing 70 mph on I-70 in our AWD Highlander fitted with snow tires on my way to the ski slopes to catch the fresh pow.

If what we are getting slammed with in Baton Rouge right now is headed to Georgia.....wow!

If it holds y'all are in for a lot of ice. It is raining extremely hard here. Lots of lightening too.
