Char gets Eric Gordon
Jeff Green
Avery broadly

Celtics get Ben Gordon mkg and Austin rivers

Pelicans get Gerald Henderson
Kris humphries
2015 char 1st rounder top 7 protected

Both Celtics fans and cats fans liked it on another board ccatsmake the playoffs and can make some noise

Celtics get mkg and rivers 2 young players with potential and a big expiring.

Hump is an expiring and Henderson is cheaper than Eric while providing better d and better contract. And get a 1st rounder

That's trade rape by Charlotte. They'd be playing a lineup of Kemba Walker, Eric Gordon, Jeff Green, Al Jefferson and someone else. On paper that's a formidable 4

Yeah, uh, they wouldn't make the playoffs with that lineup. Maybe in the east with a losing record.
Not formidable at all.

Actually like that trade for us.. but I doubt Charlotte gives up on MKG for that little. Plus, celts are dying to get rid of Green's contract.

Really, I actually think that trade is pretty good. (Though it will NEVER EVER happen). I think it makes all the teams better. Only slight problem is that you might be valuing MKG a little too high at the moment. Not sure BOS couldn't get more return with Jeff Green & Avery Bradley. That would be a fun CHA team to watch though.

Can you please stop naming your threads like that? At least put hypothetical or trade idea by it.

Or just stop because you haven't had a good trade yet.

Probably would get us an 8-12 pick in 2015.

-I think we can all agree that Henderson is a nice upgrade from Rivers.
-You all wanted an expiring contract for EG, so Humphries fits there.
-On top of that, throw in cap room for summer FA, and a nice pick in 2015.

I'd do this trade in a heartbeat.

I'd do that trade for us. Not sure Boston would give up all of that without getting a draft pick or 2 back, or someone taking Wallace's contract.

I can't believe hes been on this site for 10 years and can't title a thread properly.

Or use proper grammar.

Not a legal trade.

Charlotte's 2014 1st is conditionally owed to Chicago and, despite the fact that they conditionally get Portland's 2014 1st, I'm fairly certain CBA rules won't let them trade the 2015 pick until they "officially" get a 2014 pick.

EDIT - They also have Detroit's 1st but that is top 8 protected and, the way that shite show is going, it won't be conveyed this year.

It really isn't a bad trade for us at all. It isn't the sexiest trade, but it's pretty realistic as to what we can get for Gordon. I don't think the Celtics would say yes for this trade, but as far as what we get and send out, I think we would do it.

What has MKG done to warrant anything more than what Charlotte would be getting back in this trade?

Maybe not this year, but maybe in the next year or two. And I don't think this trade offer is too bad. It's better than a lot of the garbage some of you dumb fricks try to come up with.

Get drafted high. I'm sure Minnesota wishes they wouldn't have held on so long to Derrick Williams that they ended up with a poor man's Aminu in exchange, but it's human nature to view things from your cost rather than current market conditions.
