I wanted to hear from someone's own experience. I know I can google it, but I am wondering if anyone owns one.

What do you feel you get for average gas mileage?

Do you always use premium gas?

Would the purchase of one that is fully loaded with 29,000 miles for 22,000 be a good purchase?

I have a 2007 TL-S. I love it. The GPS in the 2007 is a CD system, which sucks. The car handles great, but I am not sure how the regular TL handles. The only issue is that it will pull a little bit if you gun it from a dead stop. This is due to the front wheel drive. I also added an ipod connector that operates through my xm radio.

ETA: I would guess my mpg to be somewhere around 25, but am not sure. I take the train for work these days so I don't drive the car on a consistent basis anymore. I always use at least 91 in the care. My wife is hell bent on destroying the car. I gave it to her in great condition and it now looks like it spent about 2 years in Siberia.

How'd you do that? My car has XM built in and I am trying to figure out how to add an ipod hook up to it.

I was told that the computer was programmed for premium gas?? I am no mechanic, it has done well thus far, should I not even use though it says use premium fuel only?

holy shite. 11.2:1 Compression ratio in that motor
Guess it does require Premium fuel

BTW,It's the compression ratio that requires the added octane, not the tune in the computer.

FALSE! The tune is the tune. Period. If it was tuned for 93, then you have to run 93. You can tune an engine of any compression ratio to run on whatever octane you want.

I own a 2012 Acura TL. I love this car! The gas mileage in the city is not very good, but that is mainly because of the way I drive. I tend to accelerate much faster than average. I only get about 14 MPG in the city. Highway is over 20.

I always use premium gas. It is what the car requires. 22K seems like a good price for such low mileage. A HUGE factor for me is whether or nor it has the technology package. This is very important as it includes GPS, a killer 10 speaker sound system and keyless everything (I never take the key fob out of my pocket, push button start, automatically detects your hand to unlock and open doors, etc.)

Let me know if you have any more questions. I have been driving Acuras for over 10 years now and don't see me changing anytime soon. Best luxury car for the money!

ETA: Just saw above it is all wheel drive. This will hurt your gas mileage a bit, but you'll enjoy the extra horsepower. Technology package is ridiculous. Read reviews about all that is included.

Do they hold their value well? Have you gotten good trade in deals at high mileage?
