Both used pawn shop guns for $250. The 20ga is newer and in a little better shape. I already own a youth model Winchester in 20ga that's a rabbit killing machine I shoot often. I do not own a 16ga. I really don't need either of the two, but that really doesn't matter does it??

Edit both 2-3/4"

What's y'all's opinion?

Flip a coin. That's what I would do.

If the 20 is a Wingmaster and 3" I'm going that route all day

20ga. much easier to find shells of all different sizes. If i bought a 16GA, would be a Browning A5 just for the neat history.

in the long run the 16 may be worth more, but how often can you find the shells?

i grew up with a 20ga wingmaster. my dad still has it and we plan to pass it along to my son.

Im leaning towards the 20 because it's the more logical hunting choose. But not already owning a 16 is weighing on me.

16 gauge shells are not that hard to find.

I have a 20 ga Wingmaster and it is badass. If be tempted to buy both at that price. But would definitely get the 16 gauge.

If you're buying it to use on a regular basis 20 gauge

If you're buying it to have a cool old gun then 16 gauge.

16 sounds fun until you start scrounging for ammo

Get the 20.

20. Easier to find ammo, but I'd love to have a 16 870.
