I think that it's very enjoyable. It's not the best series out there, but it's better than the vast majority.

On episode 8. Don't know why I waited this long to start watching. A lot more entertaining than I thought it would be. Love that Frank is from the South.

I like that it is about politics but doesn't seem to be pushing any particular agenda. Basically everyone is in it for themselves and their own advancement. kinda like the real world.

Great show. I'd be interested this week in a thread detailing the story arc for Season 1 to get ready for Season 2. It was pretty intricate, and the journalism aspect for Season 2 will probably be a lot of unraveling the events of Season 1. I could start it and edit in contributions and corrections.

The politics are really the set piece. It's not preaching anything. It's not the West Wing or Newsroom, and it's why I like the show.

Exactly. They're not shy about saying, "Politics is a dirty business, no matter what side you're on." I don't give a shite if Spacey's character is a Democrat or a Republican. That doesn't matter.

It's scary how accurate the show is when it comes to Washington. It is all about survival of the fittest, where the clout that comes with your name means everything.

Just finished watching as well. So many little details I missed and need a recap of before season 2. I think starting a new thread on that would be awesome. Peter was my favorite for some reason.

Favorite thing about the show. I hope they don't stray from this.

Watched it with the wife a couple weeks ago, and we ran through it quickly. Instantly in my top 5. Very well cast. When they release season 2, they will release the entire season at the same time, right?

I kinda wish I had to wait a week for each episode. The anticipation makes it better. But if they are all released together, no way I have the discipline to do anything but a marathon.
