Will there ever be a draft? Would you go?

I aged out of the draft but I'm curious to see if anyone thinks there will ever be another draft?

If so, would you go (even if you didn't believe in the cause)?

Bad question. It all depends.

I'm all for defense of my country but I'm not for random conquests looking to secure "liberty".

Ask again when there's some substance to your question.

An old lady told me when I was about 10 if there was ever a draft to run away. She lost husbands, kids, grandkids in WWI, WWII, Korea, Vietnam. I took it to heart.

If someone attacked the US and we were defending our borders, it may be another story but never would go abroad to fight if drafted.

I asked if you thjnk there will ever be another draft.

And then I asked would you go if you didn't believe in the cause.

Seems pretty concrete

Maybe, but I wouldn't encourage anyone to go.

Wouldn't have to draft anyone if actually invaded. Just shoot from the windows...

How much would the very survival of the United States have to be in for the draft to be revived?

Guess you can't be American unless you go fight some war for another nation, like Kuwait or Vietnam.

We would draft starting with 20 yr olds all the way to 25. Only 18 and 19 yr olds after you're all dead.

The Haliburton card.
Just out of curiosity, under what conditions would you serve?
