I have this game. UP by 8 at the half and then Pervis came into our lives. Louisville was too long for us. Memphis State and GA Tech both had 7 footers, but not entire frontline that was so long.

I read an article a few years back that Bernard Woodside was ceo of a company trying to attract a big league franchise to the Atlanta area. Must have been NHL, they have the other 3 sports already.

It is hard to believe that it has been 25 years since Don Redden passed.

Can still remember Rickey Blanton's face that year after beating Kentucky.

Occasionally...for no good reason...I'll think of the name Pervis Ellison and get angry.

Still.
