I know its only softball and who cares but by any standard a pitcher who is a freshmen and allows no runs, 1 hit, 13 strike outs and a shutout 1-0 win against Oklahoma St. needs to be applauded.
And struck out the last 2 outs to end the game with the bases loaded.

Corbello has 23 strikeouts in 14 innings. I would say that is pretty good.
And I agree, the top of the order is beginning the season in a slump. Had opportunities against Texas and Minnesota.

Johnny jones and Beth torina can really out on a recruiting clinic. The two freshmen pitchers look great and they have the top pitcher signed for next season
