Who would you go with?

Grand Funk Railroad
The Doobie Brothers
Traffic

Very random, but a debate I had with a good friend recently. I thought it was a tough question.

Traffic was easily the best and I think the musicianship of The Doobies was stellar. But I'd go back and see the worst of the three, Grand Funk Railroad, because I am jonesing for some serious bell-bottoms 70 arse-kicking, massive-amp-feedback, long-haired-hippy- freak goodness.

If I could see anybody it would be something like a Faces/Badfinger/Frampton type thing. Like a 1972/1973/1974 thing. Maybe Sweet or The Raspberries could warm it up.

After much consideration, Grand Funk would be the best live show. Traffic a CLOSE second.

GFR - Inside Looking Out (Live)

Traffic - Dear Mr. Fantasy (Live)

The Doobie Brothers. My dad got me hooked on em when I was young. Don't hear much about them around here.

I started this thread and still cannot decide. I think that Traffic had the best craftsmanship; Doobies had the best catalogue; GFR had the best live-like and heavy sound about them. I would have to let someone draw a name from a hat for me.

Traffic, then Doobies. GFR interests me the least...
