Lsusport.net. 2014 isn't updated and won't be until spring. But u can look at 2013 and find out. Just look for names you've never heard of or guys that have only sq by their name. Obviously some walkons have lettered like fruge and the fb that I can't think of rt now.

Damn I need to turn in my fan card because I'm drawing a complete blank on the fbs name.

I know of one, Kaigler, TE out of McKinley. Good HS player, played QB, WR for Coach Sig. 6'5, about 220, I would estimate.

Good info. I was looking for some info on the lb from east jeff who was going to play fullback as a preferred walkon.

Edgar Jackson? Did not know that, but I wouldn't be surprised if he saw the field one day, he's a FOOTBALL PLAYER.

I think walkons are the underrated part of winning championships.

What is the difference between a normal walk-on and a preferred walk-on? Also the junior college QB that is coming onboard as a preferred walk-on. There seems to be some excitement over this young man. Realistically what will this kids role be? His skillset seems to be similar to Metts.

I am interested in the JC QB. Has good numbers in JC. Everyone was high on Mett coming from JC and this guy is very similar.

dgnx6, fb is Connor Neighbors although he is on scholarship now. Also, James Stampley was a walk-on as well several years back.

A preferred walk on is treated like a member of the team, except he doesn't have a scholarship. He doesn't have to try out; he is included as part of the 105 man roster. He can participate in spring practice and reports to fall camp with the rest of the team in August. Regular walk ons can't report until school starts. A school is limited to 5 (I think) new preferred walk ons per year.

Thank you, something seems off here. The people that I know that know something about football are excited about this kid and I don't understand it. If he is so good why wasn't he offered a scholly right off. If he is not that good then why are the goofballs so excited? I am missing something here. anyway glad to see him a tiger.

Brandon Bergeron has the skillets to be a D-1 QB. Trust me.
