ACC is considering 8 game + 1 SEC game schedule

ACC officials have also broached the idea of a model in which conference teams would play eight league games and one SEC opponent every season, according to several sources from both conferences.
Four schools in the ACC -- Florida State, Georgia Tech, Clemson and incoming member Louisville -- already have built-in SEC rival games during the final week of the regular season.
An SEC source told ESPN.com that the ACC's idea of an "8+1 model" was merely a concept that had been discussed only once and was a long way from being a reality.
Not sure if it will happen, but it is an interesting concept. Aside from the 4 listed above, doesn't Vandy & Wake play each other the last game of the season?

LSU would get stuck playing FSU every year and Bama would get Duke or BC

ACC is sooo stacked
more like making their minions outside of FSU and Clemson the sacrificial lambs to the SEC in an attempt to stay relevant.

Miami's program is just now recovering from the two sets of beatdowns they got in the Peach Bowl circa 2005.

They should do it like the B1G and ACC do basketball.
Just have an open date and then agree on match-ups in the off season.
I would love for the SEC/B1G to do this, but would never happen.

Those who don't have border rivals, will be fighting for the teams in SEC recruiting areas.
Everyone wants Miami, it only enhances your recruiting as you can guarantee the kid 2 times he will play at home.
There will be some bitching and fighting. No one wants pitt/syracuse

Those are some good ones, but I see Tennessee & North Carolina matching up. And CBS would love to have Notre Dame & Bama every other year.
