I saw this live. Jonas Valanciunas is one of the best young Centers in the game and Barkely, an "expert" doesn't even know how to say his name.
It just goes to show, those guys on TNT are entertainers (and they are really entertaining, I love Barkley) but they don't watch a lot of games or put in the work to really be a serious analyst.

Nah, it shows that Charles Barkley is a goofball. He pronounces words wrong. Thats not telling of how much basketball he watches.

If he was a basketball junky, he would know how to pronounce it.
I've seen him play MAYBE once and I know how to pronounce it. Someone who is allegedly around the sport constantly should know.
At first I thought he was just being Chuck and joking around, but I'm not sure. I watch that show a lot, and those guys tend to show an extreme lack of knowledge for any team that isn't one of the big boys.

Ummm, Barkley has never claimed to be an expert.
If your proclamation is true that you "watch this show a ton" then you would know that.
