Dropping off a nice buck at taxidermist next week, cant decide on pose, thinking of semi sneak turned to the left. Was originally thinking full sneak, what does the OB'ers have? Post some pics!

Guy Adams did mine. Slight turn to the left, ears cocked back, grunting. He did a great job recreating it. Muscle striations in the neck and veins on the muzzle.

Full sneak I don't care for, but I like semi sneak poses.

I think if the buck is wider than taller a semi sneak will make it look better, if it's taller you should have him upright.

I shot him chasing a doe which is why I'm leaning towards semi sneak. he was actually nose to the ground, but just really dont care for the full sneak position.

I've got four large game mounts, whitetail, elk, axis, and mule. All of them are upright sneaks and they look great.

Then figure out where he is going to decide on direction. If he is going on one side or the other of a fire place have him looking inward.

I got one fine last year in a pretty strong sneak to the deer's right and I think it looks great.

This isn't even a good pic. Just seems so natural.

All of mine are upright. I think they are by far the best looking pose. One of the two at the taxidermist now will be a semi sneek. Really did it just to have one a little different from the rest.
